Some Goodbyes

Monday night was my last night in my weekly D&D gaming group for the foreseeable future. I joined the group during its third session back in September 2000, and it's been fun times ever since then.
In the past, we've had people leave and return for grad school, and for seminary, or take short hiatuses for work or other personal events, but this my first time going on hiatus, and I won't even be able to (reasonably) play D&D while I'm on the trail!
Another player is also leaving in about a month for a new job out west, so our group will be down two players for an extended period of time. I wonder how that'll change the character of the sessions…
