I woke up this morning around 5:45, after a not awesome night’s sleep. The tentsite I picked was somewhat bumpy and uneven; it was the best available, though, so not really much I could do about that. The air was a bit chilly, requiring wearing my fleece this morning as I broke camp, but I quickly warmed up once I got everything packed up and started hiking, around 7:15. Naturally, there was a much nicer campsite a short distance across the stream. Oh well.

I had set my alarm for 5:45, but didn't manage to roll out of my sleeping bag until half an hour later. It didn't get too cold last night; just enough that I gradually zipped up my sleeping bag over the course of the night. It was very comfy by morning. I was a little slow breaking camp, but I managed to start hiking by 7:20.

I got up today at 6:30, ready for the 7 am pancake breakfast. Consisting of 12 pancakes with three different kinds of fruit and covered with powdered sugar, and also including an egg and sausage, it was excellent.

Though I had set my alarm for 6 am for a potential 7 am shuttle back out to East Flagstaff Road, I overslept, and didn't get up until fifteen minutes later. Fortunately, with everything generally packed last night, I didn't actually have much to do this morning before being ready.

Today was awfully lazy. I didn't leave for breakfast at the Loony Moose until almost 9:30. (It was just as gigantic today as it was yesterday.) I hung out in the common area most of the afternoon not really doing much of anything, until I finally went over to the grocery store across the street and got the snacks I needed for resupply. (As well as a 2 liter bottle of soda, because why not?)
